Steve Gadlin’s Star Makers is a comedy variety show based in and around Chicago celebrating tomorrow’s stars of Hollywood and/or Broadway. Hosted by Steve Gadlin, each episode features a variety of stunning performances from singers, dancers, magicians, jugglers, clappers, rappers, tap-less tappers – virtually every talent under the sun.
The Show
Steve Gadlin’s Star Makers began in 2013 the hallowed cable access studios of Skokie, Illinois. The show ran for three distinct seasons, each produced in a new venue. For Season 2, the show was shot in the Tribeca Flashpoint Academy studios, and syndicated to local stations around the country. Season 3 saw a return to the show’s cable access roots, with a move to the CAN-TV studios in Chicago.
The Host
Steve Gadlin is a Chicago-based inventor, artist, and entrepreneur best known for his stick figure cat drawing company I Want To Draw a Cat For You! He is the inventor of The Fart Pedal, a guitar pedal that turns your guitar noises into fart noises. Steve currently hosts the podcast Stevie Wevie No Believey.
